Youth and Family
An outpatient therapy program that responds to the counseling needs of adults and youth. On site services are available at both the Fox Drive and Park Avenue locations. Off site services are available in Rantoul at the Community Service Center of Northern Champaign County. Services include individual, family, couple, group, play and art therapy. The Counseling Team utilizes a strength based, solution focused approach to meet the needs of individuals and families. Two evidence based groups for teens and parents, SPARCS (Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress) and PLL (Parenting with Love and Limits), are also offered at area schools and at Community Elements.
Participants of any age that are fathers or the significant male caregiver for a child. Oldest child must be under age 3. Services include home visiting, parent/child play, and educational groups.
Participants over age 18 and expecting first child or have first child less than two weeks of age. Services include home visiting and counseling.
Participants age 18 or under and expecting first child or have first child under age 1. Services include home visiting and teen groups.
Provides outreach case management services working with homeless/at risk of homeless adolescents who may or may not be pregnant or parenting in order to develop self-sufficiency abilities.
Screens adolescents involved in the juvenile justice system for symptoms of major mental illness. Provides case management services to youth and family in an effort to divert the youth from further juvenile justice involvement.
Provides multi-family group and individual family coaching sessions for youth involved in or at risk of involvement in the juvenile justice system. PLL is a short term evidenced based practice that draws on structural and strategic family therapy theory to improve overall family functioning and reduce recidivism.

Psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management services are available for adult, children and youth.
Roundhouse is a temporary homeless shelter serving community referred youth who are runaway, homeless, or at-risk for runaway or homelessness. It provides counseling and supportive services in a community integrated home type setting.
Provides intensive outreach counseling/case management to children in foster care in order to stabilize placements.
